Canada takes great pride to be a land of tolerance as people from the diverse background can come to Canada and make Canada their home. Those who face persecution in their motherland, they no longer need to fear persecution, there is Canada for them, they can come to Canada and start a new life for themselves. Canada has been home to the LGBTQ communities from other countries that they face bigotry.
There are other voices in Canada that they stand by the others. The Right Honorable Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Treadue calls himself a feminist. He distances himself from a patriarch society. It is good that he favors women to participate in society and she is not just a voiceless and faceless person in society.
Recently, it came to light that Shayesteh Sajadi and Mahour Jabbari were denied to come to Canada to watch their movie, it is due to premiere in the Toronto International Film. It is sad to know that these new artists cannot watch their film. The movie is about social justice that how women are facing barriers in the society. The movie is challenging the conventional wisdom of society as the LGBTQ community does as well as the feminist do to move the society toward equality among different genders.
Hoping a day comes that everyone can share their views with one another and move toward the concept of the Global Citizens and borders are no longer holding back people, but people are holding hands with each other.
